Effects of Interaction between Fertilizer and Density on the Yield and Economic Traits of Flax

Abstract:

A field experiment with two factors randomized block design was conducted to study the effects of planting density (5.5 million plants/hm 2,6.5 million plants/hm 2,7.5 million plants/hm 2,8.5 million plants/hm 2) and fertilizer on yield, agronomic traits and quality of flax to determine the best combination of fertilizer and density. The results showed the different fertilizer and planting density had some effects on the yield and agronomic traits of flax. Considering the input costs of seeds, fertilizer and the ratio of input and output, the economics scheme, when planting density was 7.5 million plants/hm 2 and organic-inorganic compound fertilizer, the yield could reach 1 593.0kg/hm 2 in this research.
