Effects of Sowing Date and Density on Yield of Soybean Variety Qihuang 34

Abstract:

This experiment was designed to investigate the effects of different sowing date and planting density on yield of soybean variety Qihuang 34. The results showed that with the delay of sowing date or with the increase of density, the yield showed a trend of first increasing and then decreasing. Significant differences were observed among treatments. The best sowing time was June 17 and the best planting density was 195 thousand plants/hm 2.The yield of Qihuang 34 reached to 3 615.14kg/hm 2.
