Ornamental and Edible Type Sweet Potato and Its Application Prospect

Abstract:

Review the utilization value and the current situation of sweet potato.Based on the ornamental sweet potato, the authors creatively proposed the concept and principles of ornamental and edible type sweet potato, then put forward the developmental principle of dual-purpose type sweet potato.The authors pointed out that we must establish a new breeding target of dual-purpose type sweet potato and need to increase publicity and guidance in order to promote the market of dual-purpose type sweet potato.In the end of this paper,the authors analyzed the future market of dual-purpose sweet potato.
