Effects of Water and Fertilization Treatments on Water Consumption and Yield of Common Bean

Abstract:

In the northwest of Hebei province, the effects of water and fertilizer conditions on water consumption and yield were studied, in order to provide theoretical basis for the common bean production. The results showed that irrigation in the seed filling stage could increase the yield. The average yield with base fertilizer treatment was 38.0% higher than that of the dressing fertilizer treatments. The yield of dressing fertilizer in the initial flowering stage was 15.1% higher than that in the seed filling stage. The water use efficiency of the base fertilizer and irrigation in the seed filling stage was the highest with 7.2kg/(hm 2?mm).
