Effects of 2,4-D 2-Ethylhexyl Ester·Florasulam on Yield and Quality of Winter Wheat

Abstract:

In order to optimize herbicide dosage and to increase grain yield of winter wheat, a field experiment and a pot experiment were conducted using Jimai 22 as material to investigate the effects of 2,4-D 2-ethylhexyl ester?florasulam on the yield and quality of grain. Four herbicide dosage treatments (225, 450, 675, 900mL/hm 2) with a water control were set up to study the effects of different dosages of 2,4-D 2-ethylhexyl ester?florasulam on winter wheat broadleaf weed, filling rate and yield in field experiment. Four herbicide dosage treatments (0, 1.17, 2.33, 3.50, 4.67μL/pot) with a water control to study its effect on grain quality in a pot experiment. The results showed that different dosages of 2,4-D 2-ethylhexyl ester?florasulam had significant effects on broadleaf weed control compared to the control, and the effect increased with the increase of herbicide dosage, showing some dose-effect relationship. Compared with the control, wheat grain filling rate, yield and yield components increased first and then decreased with the increase of the herbicide dosage. Although 450mL/hm 2 of 2,4-D 2-ethylhexyl ester?florasulam is recommended by the manufacture company, 225mL/hm 2 should be used if the weed are less, however 675mL/hm 2 should be used if weeds are more.
