Research Progress of the Effects of Molybdenum Nutrition on Tobacco Quality

Abstract:

The molybdenum is one of the important microelements for plant’s development needs, which adjusts sorts of physiological function of tobacco through adjusting the activity of mo-enzymes in it. This paper summarized the effects of molybdenum nutrition on the nitrogen fixation capacity of tobacco, photosynthetic efficiency of its leaf cells, its stress resistance, its output and quality, etc, and gave a discussion on the key direction to conduct research on molybdenum nutrition in tobacco.
