Effects of Different Multiple Cropping Methods on Dry Matter Accumulation, Distribution and Yield of Summer Soybean

Abstract:

In order to explore the ripening early, yield stable and economical efficient multiple cropping patterns for summer soybean, four kinds of multiple cropping methods that interplanting on June 23rd (B1), interplanting on June 27th (B2), no tillage on July 2nd (B3), and sowing on July 6th after plowing (B4) were used to study the dry matter accumulation, yield and economic benefit of Heihe 45. The results showed that compared with B4 treatment, the growth and development process of B1, B2 and B3 was advanced. The mature stage was advanced 9-19d, Growth period has been shorten 2-4d, Leaf area index increased and dry matter accumulation was ahead of time but dry matter accumulation amount decreased for B1, B2 and B3. B1 had a significant yield increase, however there was no significant difference in yield between B2 and B3. Since B1 needed artificial seeding, so it was difficult to apply in large area in production. B3 increased income 440.72 yuan/hm 2 because of saving the cost of cultivated land, and ripened earlier for 9d. Under the condition of this experiment, harvesting winter wheat quickly with no tillage to planting was the ripening early, yield stable and economical efficient multiple cropping patterns for summer soybean under wheat-stubble in Yili Valley.
