The Yield and Quality of Brewing Sorghum Performance under Different Fertilizer Density Factors

Abstract:

This experiment was designed to investigate the effects of different fertilizer and density on the yield and quality of sorghum Longza 5. The results showed that different planting density and fertilizer application had significant effects on yield and quality of brewing sorghum. With the increase of density, Pn, SPAD and amount of dry matter accumulated of one sample, LAI, yield increased, starch content decreased and tannin content decreased. With the increase of fertilizer application rate, Pn, SPAD, LAI, amount of dry matter accumulated of one sample and starch content decreased, and fat content increased. Under the condition of fertilizer in 375kg/hm 2, amount of dry matter accumulated of one sample, LAI and yield increased by the increase of the ratio of potassium fertilizer. In this experiment, The amount of fertilizer 375kg/hm 2(N∶P∶K =1∶0.7∶1.6)was used to be a reasonable combination of high yield and good quality, which density was based on 154 000 plants/hm 2.
